ID speakers in Tom Hanks movie

Couldn't track down the actual model but they look like JVC. Sansui also made a few models with a square frame woofer and midrange/tweeter frames arrayed that way.

Looks very much like:

Realistic Optimus 900

3-Way Loudspeaker System (1986-89)

Fits with the time frame of "the Burbs"(production in 88, released in 89) and obviously distressed by the props dept to look like a teenagers "beat up" rig.

Also, movie props are typically done as cheaply (ie: inexpensive) as possible and that also fits.

Props dept probably ran down to RatShack (which was still an option at the time) and grabbed the first speakers that looked "big" and were the least expensive that had "the look".
