ID these speakers?

Hi, I came across a pair of 15" Drivers that don't have a source -date code that I can ID. Marked: BSR1713-3013 84-05

Do those numbers mean anything to anyone? Someone bothered to have them refoamed.

Not really - but with the "BSR" initiatls, I am thinking they're woofers from the "Thunder Lizards", as popularized by DAK in those day (mid-1980s).

The glossy paper and full color photo's really made Drew's catalogs kinda fun to flip thru.

Did BSR actually manufacture speakers? - I had forgotten about the DAK catalogs - they used to show up about once a week

They were made for them by an asian company as I recall.
