I can't tell what this stuff is while looking in my phone. Can anyone ID the gear? I see the cassette door is broken, but that's about it.

Yep, although I was thinking MCS. Even still, I'd want to see it to justify that asking price.

Actually, the stuff on the left looks like silver-face Pioneer.

However, it also looks two-dimensional to me. In fact, it looks like a cardboard cutout picture of stereo gear.

The turntable is real, and perhaps what appears to be a double-well cassette deck on the top center.

Without more information, I'd say junk. BAD junk, since some of it looks like a cardboard cutout photo of junk.

I emailed the seller and got this response:

Stereo system is the old system of the 70's with the 8 track player. Works great. well maintained system. Turntable and speakers are the best.

I just called him. He said he was away from it, but that it was a top of the line stereo of the time. I also looked at the pic closer and saw the 8-track player. He's gonna call me back about the brand. I hope mingo's email and my call about the stereo stuff doesn't make him decide to jack up the price more, thinking he has something awesome... I'm gonna try to get him to sell me just the stereo, if it's something I want.

It does look like Proptronics(furniture store cardboard electronics) but if it aint, it's junk.
