If i only had a plinth

I think it is a great arm. It's the best 12" arm I owned so far and for the cost of it new you can't beat it. Silver wiring with the arm tube dampened. It tracks great, sounds great. Based off the legendary Ortofon 212 arm which some people say has the best bearings. Easy to use and setup. Better than the SME 3012 IMO. What more can you say. The only cart I have used so far has been a Denon 103 that's been modified and put in a aluminum body. But I will be trying a Ortofon SPU on it soon.:naughty:
 
It uses a helical focus ring . The Riggle does not that's why the Riggle uses guide bars to keep the tone arm from turning .
This one works like the Technics SL1200 type
 
I've always felt the guide bars on the Riggle to be a bit hack-ish. I understand the compromise and that doing a pinned helical would be rather expensive, most likely requiring custom machining.

Glad to see it being loved. I had that 'table for nearly four years, and I think I only played 4-5 records on it.
 
Another small upgrade - A pair of Expressimo audio half moon counterweights . 2 - 100g to put the weight closer to the pivot point

I like that other one they make with the metal finish rather than all wood. Very nice job on all your upgrades, and with all the talk on AK of everyone's SP10's is really working at me to get mine finished.

The feature that allows the tone arm to slide is the key to this plinth . During my plinth purchase I sent Lee @ Acoustand a picture of the Feickert turntable . He liked the idea and ran with it . Thank you for the complement Ken
