If you have tried a Loefgen B alignment

Hi. Does anyone have a pdf of the loefgen B protractor?

Two options -
https://www.vinylengine.com/cartridge-alignment-protractors.shtml scroll down to generic protractors and get the first one (also called stupid protractor).

http://www.conradhoffman.com/chsw.htm (3rd or 4th from top). This is a program you run to create pdf but you will need accurate pivot to spindle distance. If you post your TT model, members should be able to help find or advise on the spec.

I have printed for free a LOFGREN B arc protractor from Alignment Protractor.com website.It is for the TECHNICS SL 1210 MK2 and i used the DIN standard.With an Excel es70 cartridge ,a TONAR elliptical stylus and an aftermarket headshell that allows me to do this alignment i am very happy with the result.Much better than the one with the Technics gauge that i tried before. Everyone must try the LOFGREN B alignment.It is working and you hear it.

Looking at the curves I think it will be very hard to hear difference except maybe on the inner groove,Also other distortions obscure the effect of alignment, at least at low levels, ref the Korf experiments, I get similar results . That does not mean the careful alignment is not important.
