Ikea Expedit - UNAVAILABLE

Before pulling the trigger on three maybe four I wanted some impressions. The DIY CD rack from tnt-audio would work if I made it at least four times as wide. Has anyone made one of those?
 
Today I purchased three of the 2 x 4 units in black/brown at the Ikea North of Baltimore near Whitemarsh Blvd. Seems to be no problem with availability there.
 
The discussion earlier about fitting them into a Jeep had me chuckling as I've transported all five of my 4x4 Expedits in my Mazda MX5! Okay, that was fully unpacked, one at a time and with the roof down on fine days. Never paid more than 50% of list by buying 2nd hand or from the clearance area at Ikea. Really excellent storage solution. Why, they practically encourage LP purchase!
