Someone needs to go get that Hafler XL600. This is a very successful amp with something like AR9's.

How do I know? After my AR9's ate up Carvers, SAE's, and a few other of the amps of the day, I never had any problem with the kit built Hafler DH500's or the XL600's I ran on the AR9's back then.

I had a pair of these XL600's......sold them and I still regret it. You do not see these for sale often.......there's good reason for that. :yes:

DH 500: 250W/ch at 8 ohms mosfet output transisitors

XL600: 305W/ch at 8 ohm excelinear circuit w/mosfet output transistors.

Both use a similar cooling tunnel design w/fan. The XL600 had a linear speed controller for the fan, thus mostly very quiet unless you really were asking the amp for all it has.

As much as I'm selling off things more than buying these days, if that XL600 were close to me I'd be on my way for it already.
