Infinity 4000 Speakers (1975)

@1unc Hey man, we're glad to have you, don't let this ruffle your feathers.

I've had some deletions I had questioned in my mind, but overall, things are generally kept between the ditches here.

Human behavior is hard to interpret over the zeroes and ones. Just enjoy the site, play some good tunes, and stick around. With your experience, you bring much to the table.

It was posted right here as part of this thread since this was a discussion about the Infinity 4000 or 3000 model... My paragraph simply outlined that I had just completed restoring a pair of model 3000 speakers and what all I did...maybe 6 sentences, and then maybe 1

>>>>>>>, final sentence saying I was probably going to sell them and for how much<<<<<<<<<

...purely as informative... the post was NOT a For Sale ad.....it's that simple.

I think I see the issue...

Well... Yesterday I wrote a large paragraph describing the Infinity 3000 speakers I had just restored.. to share what all it takes to restore well.. and only mentioned that I will probably sell them.. I did NOT write an ad to sell them here or solicit any buyers etc, and damn if the AK police didn't DELETE my post! What a waste of time.. wonder who the TROLL was?? Unbelievable!

I was not the moderator involved, but by mentioning you were going to sell them is in essence offering them for sale and is against the rules in the open forums as is your comment on moderation. I would suggest you get over it as further comments on moderation will not go well. We have not even mentioned your hi-jack of the Op's thread.
Regards,
Jim

I have a set of Infinity 4000 speakers I bought at Pacific Stereo in Sacramento California at $225 a piece, they were rated at 300 watts a piece and can still vibrate pictures off the wall. I was told they were very valuable, they still sound great!
