Those have to have been sold by now (or listed by a scammer), they sell for about $1k/pair now in good condition.

It's actually a trailer park, gotta wonder how anyone would have room for such beasties.

As long as the Watkins woofers haven't been replaced with MTX.

Even if they have, the rest of the parts are worth way more than the asking price. And they're not true dual-voice coil Watkins woofers, these use the same woofers as the IRS series.

That is one hell of a crossover. A friend of mine had them. They sounded great. I would have been over there last night if I lived closer.

Yeah, Infinity is known for their complex crossovers on higher end models. Although I've never seen a mod like that on the Kappas.

Absolute go for it. buy them, then sell them then use that money for an amp.....oh wait

You can find a vintage amp for under $500 that could handle these. There may be some commercial amps that can do it as well.

Surprisingly there is no listing online of amps that can handle a 1Ω load, but there have been discussions here on AK on what amps people have driven their Kappa 8s or 9s with.

Might make a worthwhile pinned post in the Infinity forum. I'll have to suggest it the next time the subject comes up.
