Infinity kappa 9 Help and some questions!

What i had in mind for my surround speakers up to this point, just to match the style of everything was:

Kappa 9`s front, 2 kappa 6`s (I already own a pair of 6`s i want to put to use) head-to-head OR kappa video for center, if it`s possible and i have space for it, 2 kappa 5 OR 2 kappa video for surround and 2 kappa 5 OR 2 kappa video for surround back. And yes, i have read that these tweeters can be horizontally mounted :)

I just have to see what space i have and what to go for, this is an exciting project :D

For those of you that are curious:
The way i was thinking of connecting the kappa 6`s was if i have 2* 3 channel amps, i would connect the kappa 6`s speaker cables on two separate speaker outputs on the amps and then combine the signal for these 2 channels into 1 signal (a Y or SPLIT cable, this way i don`t have to fiddle around and risking anything with Ohm`s law) that would go to center channel signal on my surround processor, then connecting rest of the surround speakers to the remaining 4 speaker outputs of the 2 amps, then connect these up to surround L\R and surround back L\R of the surround processor. And of course the main kappa 9`s on their own big block, front L\R to the surround processor

This make any sense? Especially regarding the 2 kappa 6`s, as i never heard any mention of anyone who have connected 2 speakers to 1 center by this method before :dunno:

Opinions and inputs on this anyone? :)
No opinions on this? Thoughts anyone? I`m open for suggestions, tips and tricks here :angel:

From what you described here I do assume that the settings for the Polyswitches inside the crossover have gotten damaged.
I would remvoe the crossover and get into a repair shop and if necessary get the old caps replaced and get the Polyswitches completely removed.

Once the crossover is okay and has been fixed you can go ahead and listen to your Kappa 9s and if its not sounding okay we can give you further suggestions.
