Introducing Hoewieloewie and his Superscope hobby.

Hi Hoewieloewie,
It's cool to see someone with non-mainstream interests posting.

I have one Superscope item, an MS-60 receiver/turntable.
Bad photo follows.
The dial is for more pink than the picture shows.
Remarkably pink. It's definitely different.

Though the turntable needs maintenance (the same cheapo BSR often seen in this type of system), the overall system is in excellent cosmetic shape.
The thing appears to be quite well built; it's really heavy.
The unit needs a few bulbs, but it sounds pretty darned good.

Hello. Nice unit you have. A few years ago, I found a MS-30, in Brussels, Belgium. Looks the same, I think yours has more watts coming out.:)

The pink (official "magenta") display indeed is very typical. I like it too because it's different from all the others (in combination with the not so common brand Superscope, the word "underdog" comes in mind). If you recplace the bulbs and you want to keep the pink display, use original ones and not leds. Warm white leds make it purple and blue leds make ik very blue. See picture. At the top the warm white leds. In real life it even looks more purple and blue than on the picture.
