Hello to you all,
It is a good habit to introduce yourself when becoming a new member on a forum.
Same here.
Okay Here we go.
My name is Auke Dost
I'm an guy from Holland so i'm Dutch
You all have heard about Holland (or The Netherlands) No it not the same as Amsterdam, we don not all walk in wooden shoes, and yes we have Tulips and windmils...
To Clarify.... Amsterdam is the Capital of Holland, Holland loves to called the Netherlands, Only older farmers and in some other occupation they wear wooden shoes, and these day lots of countries have windmils and grow Tulips.
Okay... That's done...done and dusted
Now about myself...
Being a Radio and TV repair techie in the 70ties and 80ties, I recently found myself druling over a beautifull MARANTZ reciver Amplifier i saw on Pintrest.
There the bug started to byte again... 70 audio equipment!
I repaired so many in the past, but never bought some for myself... Yes I had a Technics SU series set-up
That was very nice but marriage and devorce got in the way for the real nice stuff.
Since I live very near the German border (east side of The Netherlands) Iám abel to find my kinds of Equipment in a 150 KM (about 120 mile) radius.
My latest buy's are
A set of Onkyo AudioEvent 8.1 floor standing speakers. Fair condition, Early 90ties very well build and prommis to sound good (needs new rubber surrounds on the basspeakers)
A KENWOOD TK-250u Transistor Amplifier. (needs cleaning and supply denoising)
A KENWOOD KT-660L Tuner. Mint condition (works perfect just a bit dim display... still looking for a solution. and yes this is a 90ties piece of gear... but it was dirt cheap so took it in for the fun)
A AUDION / Rosita/ MARLUX MX960 Turntable (Currently work in progress)
A Thorens TD 165. is a long term project. it is in pieces, needs a new plint, and a new motor (axel is bend) so I think this wil be a perfect machine to build some Audio Sexyniss.
My attention now goes to the MX960... Found the circuit diagram ... correction I found the PD277 Pioneer circuit diagram, using the same circuit and motor... my MX is a half automatic so I will draw up the rpm and start stop circuit.
Okay... al and al... to mutch info..
I hope to find knowledge, solid info, tips and tricks and I will delivery my own..
Hope to read from you all
Regards Auke
