Is Audio Karma intended to be a vintage hifi site?

It would be pretty slow around here if there wasn't so much awesome old gear still around.

Absolutely not. While the sole focus of many here is vintage equipment, there have been concerted efforts in the last year or so to ensure that discussions of ALL equipment, regardless of age, have a place in the AK world. Forums dedicated to new equipment and digital sound reproduction, among others, provide AK members with havens to discuss modern technology, while those who prefer vintage audio continue to have ample opportunities to express their passions in the numerous vintage forums.

AK is a big place, and getting bigger- plenty of room for all who value "All Audio, No Attitude."

There is also another site for more modern type stuff: www.audioreview.com- but they are pretty rude there. This is really the site to be on for "anything audio".

Yes, it's hard to maintain honest karma in life and afford new electronics worth owning.

Gee we are all so happy your not stating your opinion as fact.

If you think this site is solely for Vintage you will surely be disappointed with it in the future...

The question was asked, I answered it. Answers are often opinions and should always be considered as such, IMO.

i like the site for its diversity. definitely more vintage folks on here, but there's good digital info in the HT section.
