Is it possible that a stylus will wear to a sharper point?

That said I retipped an elliptical SPU that tracks at 4.5g, it only had 60 hours and the stylus was very worn.

This was a definite take away. At higher tracking forces wear is evident very quickly, and record damage happens.

That sc35c tracking at 3-5g must be worn 100hrs in. No wonder shure never published the best research, it's damning for anything over 2g.
