Is this the tuner blessed by the Pope?

The Pope don't have high enuff clearance to bless that one...Cheap SOB robbed th' Tooobs outta it..

It is a nice tuner but considering its not NIB its probally worth between 2000-2500 max and the fact that he has zero feedback on AG means that 6 months from now it will be most likely still there.

And the scope is next to it for???

1) To make it look more high tech
2) To make it look like it was recently fixed by someone who knows what they are doing
3) To show his friends he really has one

A real luxurious piece of equipment!... For you Marantz oscilloscope lovers, this tuner, though not necessary, has inputs in the back to accept a REAL oscilloscope for fine tuning purposes!, AND I will throw in a really nice Heathkit oscilloscope for free (pictured and works very well).....MINUS the tubes, I put in some NOS 12au7, and 12at7s of my own, that I would like to keep, hope you understand. However the tubes are cheap to replace. Making for an awesome tuning kit! IMPORTANT NOTE!!: The pics I submitted are done with a 12 MPixel Canon, however , they look weird to say the least on this ad!

Why would he take out the tubes? Doesn't that make the o-scope kinda useless?

I can get one less than that with a scope built in. He's Dain bramadged. Their Series Twenty line tuner was 3 times less than that new. Whoever sold him that saw him coming. He just don't know it yet.

Some nipplehead will pay it.

And I hate it when that happens.

Drives up the prices for the rest of us.

Why can't I ever have a nipplehead pay ME too much?:scratch2:

Thing looks like a $50 tuner that they were too cheap to put in a either a signal strength or center tune meter and saved $1.00 by not even using a dial glass. Is this thing even worth shelf space? Never saw one before nor know it by reputation.

Pioneer Series 20 F-26 (1979, $1,000, photo)
The quartz-synthesized F-26 was Pioneer's most expensive tuner and our panelist David "A," on his Ricochets page, calls it one of the three best tuners ever. Anthony Young's Silver Pioneer site has a nice description of the F-26. The F-26 is excruciatingly rare and shows up only a few times a year on eBay. Prices have escalated from $770-785 in 2002 to typically $1,200-1,550 in 2005-2007. One mint F-26 sold for $2,175 in 9/06, and a "new-in-box" one went for a stunning $3,305 in 6/05. [DA]

But still in my oppinion as I said earlier it is over priced 2000-2500 max.
