Sadly there doesn't seem to be much going on audio-wise in the Detroit area since the AK Fests ended. The most recent post in the Regional Clubs forum that mentioned anything near Detroit was dated November of last year. Some of us can't justify the cost and drive time to attend Axpona in Chicago and would be thrilled to see the AK Fests revived.

SMAC, Southeast Michigan Audio Club, meets every month. They have their own forum, above the Regional clubs index, but most of their information travels by their email group. You can contact @jmathers, who oversees the festivities.

I agree AK Fest nothing comes close. I cannot justify a 10 hour ride to AXPONA from Toronto. RIP AKFEST. A fest in Windsor would be OK I guess?
