Pure D Asshole. . .

I wrote him and told him so. . .Makes me wonder what else has he removed.

for a quick buck. . .

Stripping Handles?

i see this all the time i buy a lot of test equip. and 90% of the time they strip the manual to make an x-tr $5-10 buck,s. If you would of kept the pieces original you would make more than that little difference!! kritz.:thmbsp:

I dunno; I'm sure there's more folks willing to spring for the handles (and their shipping) than a busted receiver. If someone here needed a set, I think it would be a good deal for them.

I have zero problems with parting a messed up unit.

At first when I saw all the reflections in the pics, I was waiting to see something "private" in them, like the teapot guy a few years back! :lmao:

so, buy the unit, buy the handles, fix the unit, affix the handles.
Voila! Good as new. Or good as old, broken, dismantled, fixed, reconstituted...

That's pretty mild.
Ever seen a flatbed coming FROM the crusher,
with a stack of about 20 former cars,
been able to pick out the models
of three or four of em and wanted to
SCREAM?

It is his gear and ultimatly it is up to him to do as he wishes. This behavior tells me that that seller is more interested in money than his buyers. Cosmetically that 9600 is excellent. . .My opinion is remove parts if you like just don't sell them at the same time.
Check out what else this seller has. . .He has some sweet gear including a complete M-85 amp/Tuner/Preamp with original boxes all like new. . . Too bad. . . if I were a buyer the rack handle thing has shooed me away.

I would have put each handle in a seperate auction!:zoom:

Quick! somebody email him and tell him that tuning knob is worth at least 25 bucks by itself!

Can't "handle" the truth?

I think he must have a "handle" fetish. Did you notice the exaggerated effort to take excessively detailed photos of them? Perhaps he should stick to parting out Transformers toys on ebay.

I was watching the receiver and was planning on bidding, but was wondering where the heck I would find rack handles for it. Now I know.

I think I know this guy, I emailed him to ask for local pick up .
if it's who I think the guy works at valley thrift store.
had for years? BS. there is a couple of very greedy guys in S ca at least say if you checked the fuses. then again if its the same guy he's so stupid that would be a leap for him. dumb ass!
