My point exactly. I have done things very similar on parts units and never thought twice about it. I consider the Seller to have been more than honorable in listening and that was why I commented that I hope the members here do support him in his efforts. He has made an accomdation and deserves a few bids.

I doubt many of us who were at the salvage yard looking for a bumper would want to purchase the whole vehicle and really saw nothing wrong as he ws selling as a Parts unit. On the other hand, it is probably something that may be an easy fix and would be a shame to have a scratched faceplate once she was up and running. The the circle starts again looking for Rack handles and hoping some seller out there has some for sale. They do because they just parted a unit out!

Not passing judgement either way but thank goodness that there are parts being made available by those willing to take the time to salvage them.
 
Unfortunately, if they legislated stupidity the tax base would shrink to be entirely too small quickly afterwards .....
 
Great work everyone, ....as far as the car & bumper comment, your are certainly entitled to your opinion, but you will not find too many that share your point of view on that subject here on AK.
 
I think he was smarter than you give him credit for- after all he got a stack of emails (probably half from AK'ers) and now he will sell the unit for way more than he would have before...

While I wouldn't have taken the handles off of a cosmetically nice non-working receiver, I don't understand everyone getting on the guys case about what he does with his stuff. I mean, it is his, he bought it, paid for it and since he owns it, shouldn't he be able to do what he wants with it? Give the guy a break. Its not like he took a sledge hammer to it, which if that was what he decided to do would have been within his right. We don't have to like it, but we have to respect his right to do it.
 
Ever since some knothead admin called out my name I don't bother posting here anymore but watching you "experts" give this crap ebayer publicity is irritating, first with Bob Hope's" DQ-10's and now this. He is working you people. He says he is"new to ebay" well do a member search for *audiosupremacy* and see what comes up. I called him out on some crap he pulled on CL so yes I have had some contact with him and have posted about him on other sites. As far as digitubeess' locale is concerned read the post (same thing that gave me probs—people don't read through posts) about local pickup so got to be close by.
