Just picked up a pair of JBL 82T speakers for $20.00. Can't seem to find out anything about them on the web. They are in great shape and sound pretty decent. Anybody have any additional info on these?

Thanks for the info.

Used these over the weekend and they actually sound pretty decent. Not a lot of low end, but the sub makes up for that. May be a tad on the bright side.

My first post ...

Hey dlbartlett, I know it's been quite a while since you posted this, but I just found it.

What sub are you using (or did you use) with the 82t's? I still have the pair my Dad bought for my 13th birthday. I'm 34 now and they still sound great to these ears! I have them on my secondary set-up and, for some recordings, prefer their sound to my Paradigm Monitor 11's. The 82t's do, of course, need some low-end help.

I've been looking at some of the less expensive 8" and 10" subs in the 100 - 150 watt RMS power range (Polk, Infinity, etc.). My budget is $300 max. Any suggestions for a good complimentary sub? Anyone?

There are some nice NHTs in that price and size range. I have used two versions of their SW10 with great results.
