No apology needed; just curious. OK, so you have:
I agree with Bob. They look sort of like this model of L65 Jubal, but it's as though someone switched the miodrange and tweeter. Also, the midrange it wrong and the foilcal (label) and L pads (level controls) are missing. The woofer's dust cap looks a little too big, too, but that might be just my perception. The woofer cone ribbing is different, too.
I suppose they could be massively altered Lancer 55s, too:

Those would make a nice restoration project. I would think about refoaming the woofers, installing new baffles and eWaving them or putting the original drivers back to rights.

What cat's eye tweeter?
Those are 2405 or 077 tweeters, the cat eye is the 076 and has an oval slot rather than rectangular.

L65 used the 077 slot tweeter, not the 076 Cat's Eye (L220/L222 only I believe). this one looks like the pro 2405 slot tweeter using the typical old 075/2402 bullet tweeter "horse collar" outer baffle clamp instead of the newer/later square mounting plate that screwed down onto the actual horn.
Weird how they reversed the mid and tweeter, agree the mid doesn't even quite look like a JBL, more like a Pioneer (?) HPM100 mid to me.

Agreed - and that mid does look sorta suspect. They'd be worth it if you could get them in the $250 range and either part them out or redo the baffle to accommodate the drivers, but even then what sort of crossovers are in there? Waaaaay too many questions at the asking price.

The slots are damn near worth the asking price. The mids do not look like LE5-5 which have inverted dust caps. I am not sure on that woofer but I think it is JBL. I would pay $350- the average rate of a pair of 2405 slots- that is if they are in nice shape and you need them.
