Any one have an opinion on these. I have an oportunity to purchase a pair. Before I drive 50 - 60 miles to listen to them I would like to know if it is worth it or am I wasting my time.

excellent speaker

I just bought a pair for about $250 with a few nicks and the grills are
a bit poor. Sound reproduction is excellent, this is a four driver system
with bass down into the low 30's. Nice size footprint too. I have had
a fair amount of high end speakers from allisons to platinum audio solos
and i can say these are there. Buy them you will not be disappointed.

I also have them..power them well. They are sleeper speakers, they rank with the best of the best. Open, spacious, clear, perhaps a bit bright. I power them with a Marantz 240 or 250 and that rounds off the brightness of the titainium tweeter. I love them.

actually i dont find them bright at all. But i am using a vintage
sansui g 901 db reciever with a 160 watts per. I find these speakers
to be quite balanced with increadible dynamics. These speakers
will be quite sought after soon, as the word gets out. The drivers
alone are worth the small investment that these are going for right now

I agree you do need some power for these. The folks who have
had the L series state that also.

good luck
