JBL wooden speaker stand?

NealinNevada

THE Bozak Museum of NV
I saw in a thread somewhere (don't get old ) the plans for copying the wooden speaker stands that JBL sold for the monitor speakers...I just finished the rehab of a set of 4312 Monitors and I have a set of L-100's that I would like to make stands for. The stands raise the speaker a few inches off the floor and tilt them back (5 degrees?). Anyway, I have searched myself silly and I bet someone knows where I can get them...help!

I've got one of those, My L100 Century look pretty good on them.
I got one from sculpted-foam-innovations on ebay with some foam grill inserts :D

Did the speaker stands you got from sculpted-foam-innovations have the JBL logo burned into the front piece, as the original JBL stands did?

nope they didn't have it burned, but they did have badges in stead.
He did give me a good price for buying both the stands and the foam with shipping to chile, which isn't cheap...
They still work and they look great, for the burnt jbl in the stands I'd still be looking for them.
I found that the sound really changed with the stands :music:

It appears the foamtrends version is imprinted.

foamtrends <> sculpted-foam-innovations

Two entirely different people, companies, and <cough> morals.

Personally, after all that I've seen, and know first hand, I'd be working with the former and forget the latter, price be damned.

I got my L-100 grilles from Foam Trends, and was happy with the quality and the service. I just ordered the original style floor stands from them today - thus far, it's been an easy transaction - Roger is really easy to work with.
