I may have hit the mother load for 2000Z just bought out the stock, of a place in Canada, 11 of the NOS S2000Z styli. Sounds to me that there is some interest in these. They are getting good money on eBay for NOS S2000Z.

hey just a heads up to anyone who was following this thread: after using and enjoying a few other cartridge and stylus combos since i first posted this thread, i decided this week to get the empire back up and running. i bought the replacement stylus offered by the voice of music and it sounds exceptionally good. i can't really compare to the stylus that was in the cart when i bought it because i've changed quite a bit of gear since i last ran the empire, and i've also moved house and my listening room is way different now. but basically i want to shout out voice of music. very reasonable prices and they were great to deal with too. would absolutely not hesitate them to anyone looking to revive their old empire cart.
