JICO's new product: The URUSHI series "AKAZONAE and YATAGARASU"

I really appreciate the "how-to" video! I think I'll do my own. ;)

I'm very fond of Japanese culture (my wife is from Japan), but those do not excite me at all.

My wife is also from Japan and I lived there for quite a few years and also have a deep appreciation for Japanese culture. However, I do think these look pretty cool. It reminds me of what Koetsu does with their carts.

scottyh777, please follow up! I'm tempted to get one for my Shure cart! :thmbsp:

Rather bizarre, but strangely appealing...kind of like Rooney Mara...:scratch2:

It 's all a matter of taste but I tend to gravitate more towards sister Kate in her "Shooter" days.

And to get back on topic, while I find the new offerings from JICO artistically and esoterically appealing, my Shure V15 Type V, the only cart I have with a stylus that is included in the new offering, is installed in a Shure/SME 3009 with the old Ortofon style headshell which would hide all of that beauty so I'll probably stick with the JICO stylus that is already in there.

Sounds like the same moron I dealt with recently. :grumpy:

I wonder how the bozo would have felt had you thrown it in one of those thin cardboard boxes and some peanuts and shipped it to him that way. Of coarse the table would most likely have been ruined and then he really would have blown a gasket. Sometimes ya just can't plz em............:scratch2:

I'v had more than a few audio items that took me 30 minutes to an hour to unpack and I enjoyed every minute of it knowing that the item wasn't going to have a scratch on it. The items I'v sold went out the same way and the buyer was in for a long unpacking session.

At first before I looked, I thought it might be a deal like Stylast that was applied to the tip but then I see its merely "painting" the carriers.

I like the idea if it looks better than the current ultra generic look. They could at least have a cool logo sticker of some sort on them.

If its gonna cost more, I'll pass. If theres a good technical reason, I might try it myself though. :scratch2:

I'd still like a logo and part # on them.
