Hints.

Had no idea there were so many speaker companies starting with E. :sigh:

But....still no match, sorry. :scratch2:

imready, it starts with letter 'E' not 'A'.

Another hint? Second letter is a consonant. And all letters are in the first half of the alphabet.

I'll do a web search to see what those EGOs look like, if the level controls are the same, they may be closely related to these.

When I found the EGO's on the street, I dug deep into the websearch to find information about them, but there really wasn't much to go on. Not even the EGO DISPERSION ENERGIZER saucer-shaped plastic thingy surrounding the tweeter was any help! :lmao:

Speakers use EMF to operate, and generate back EMF.
 
Probably the only way we'll know where these came from--and who made them--is if somebody who worked at that 'high-end stereo store' in Portland in the 70s tells us...

But they are no longer nameless.

I finally caved in and named them a few posts back. It was driving somebody nuts, and nobody wants that. :no:

I still don't know anything except the brand name. Who was in the company? Were they involved in any other enterprise?
