Just Picked These Up - Pilot 177's

Picked these up this week. In beautiful condition. From 1959 - 1960
5 Drivers in each - 2 Bass Drivers, 2 Mid Range and 2 Tweeters all working all original.
Bass Drivers are Jensen P12R. Midrange and Tweeters are Quam Nichols

I also picked up a pair of Electro-Voice EV-6B's. Cabinets are also in beautiful condition. I will post the photos in a bit.

Have not fired them up yet. The Bass drivers were not the original Jensen so I found a pair today. I'll get them next week and and get them installed.

Also found a not so common pair of Clements RB 8.0 Mark II. Clements was a Toronto Canada company who has a unique design. They had what they called a "Compression Line" Bass loading enclosure that incorporated a 8" polypropylene woofer with a Kapton voice coil, with a 7" Direct Inductive Kapton Aluminum Ribbon Driver placed beside the woofer. They had 3 other Models. The RB 6.5 Mark II that had the 6.5" woofer, the RT-7 which had the Ribbon Driver above the woofer, and the Little D Bookshelf with a 5 1/4" woofer with the Ribbon Driver above the woofer. .

Wow, I love the cabinets on both pairs. There's something to be said about the style of cabinets from the 50's/60's. Looks like furniture grade stuff.
