Its a fat sounding unit, has a nice tuner......the SEA is actually awesome...it uses inductors, very elegant way of doing EQ........

the G-9000 is in use elsewhere now......

A QL-A2 loaned to me that will never be returned.

I own a XL-Z555 CD-player, which was pitched against the Sony ES players. Nice sturdy player which I start to appreciate more and more in my second system.

I also own a TD-V531 cassettedeck which is actually very good.

Sea

I've got a SEA-10 EQ (wonderful) and something-5020 receiver with the SEA EQ as tone controls. It's one thing JVC really got right (the SEA EQ thing), great tone control.

THe 5020 appears to have a funky multiplex on the FM. When I get a chance, I'll dig into it.

What cart are ya runnin'? AT-440MLa on mine...

Mine's running a Benz Glider M2. I have a backup AT440ML I'll have to try out on it. Spent part of last Saturday adding 10 pounds of MDF, HDPE and plasticine into the hollows of the plinth, can't say I hear much difference though. Maybe a little more solid bass. Weighs in over 40 pounds now!

I have a QL-F4 that looks just like the QL-A2 in the earlier post. It's not fancy but it does sound nice!

Same here. They were out of stock on the A2 so I got the F4. I really liked their cassette decks and integrated amps in the late 70s.

The only JVC I own is my top of the line vcr, the HR-S8000u.

Hi, i also have a JVC A-X5, it is in my bedroom running some JBL-L110A's. they match up very well. they make the JBL's really sing. if I came across another I would jump on it in a heartbeat. would also like to hear the big brother the A-X9.

JVC XL-V151 CD player that plays anything and everything I throw at it. I scored it off of the Bay for just over $20 and it is one solid unit. A very nice piece for the money.

Just a JVC XL-M401 6 CD changer. Great sounding CD player with it's "Dual Noise Sharpening 18-bit D/A Converters" for when you use the RCA jacks on the back (also has toslink).

Wait, I almost forgot, we also have a cherry wood JVC stereo cabinet in the living room that we got for a quarter because it was missing the glass door (and doesn't bother me, I don't need a door to start with).
