That's a pretty neat little system you have there! As efficient as the Klipsch are, I'll bet that system would surprise many people.

Funny you should ask. The only thing that disappointed me with this find is that it didn't have the cherry finish like Chick's. That is actually what I wanted. This was the "base" finish and the wood was an option (as I understand it, I'm not the original owner). Being in Pittsburgh, I do think it wears black and gold well, though.

The plinth is definitely the weak link. It sounds like a bass drum when you tap it. The wall mounted 3/4" maple shelf has made that all but a non-issue though.
