Kegger/blueglow kt88 project

An added note--the Angela PT is 760VCT, but we got nowhere near 460VDC indicated on the final schematic. More like 425 with a 5AR4, which is actually what I expected. I was fine with that, since it allows her to run a wider selection of output tubes without exceeding their plate dissipations.

I'm planning to build this amplifier. Has anyone in Europe used output transformers other than the original ones? I'm considering the Hammond 1628SEA instead of the Edcor CXSE25-5K. Can anyone comment on them?
