Kenny Rogers. Legend dead at 81.

Like so many, Kenny's iconic music is woven into the soundtrack of my youth and beyond.
I was impressed how humbly he credited his success to the writers who penned the songs he made famous.
RIP Kenny.

RIP Kenny
He had a lot of great songs.
A man very well like in the music world.
Thanks for the music. :bye:

A cool modern tribute to the gambler himself.

I still remember my mom playing his gambler album as a kid in the 80s.

He actually was a very big seller in the 80's. My wife hated his music because in high school the school bus driver ALWAYS played his cassette tapes(early 80s). He was an artist that could reinvent himself. His duet hits with Sheena Easton, Dolly Parton, Kim Carnes and Ronny Milsap alone would have been a great career.

Several months ago I watched a movie called Faster, and that's the first time I'd heard this song, Just Dropped In. I liked it so much, I found out the title, and then the artist, which was a band that Kenny was in! They don't make 'em like Kenny anymore.
