Kenwood KA-801?

I have a shot at Kenwood KA-801. Don't know it's history or any details. But according to the owner it works.
Is it worth 75 bucks?
I had KA-900 and KA-7100. Both were very fine amps. However never saw or heard KA-801.
Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks Dave. I actually saw this thread. But it was almost 5 years ago. I know Kenwood would sound good (and the look!). What I'm curious is the price. Nothing on eBay to compare to.
How are you by the way?

That's a nice amp. Discrete outputs, unlike the KA-9100 that preceded it. It was next in line after the superlative KA-907. I sold one several years ago for around $300. $75 is a great deal!

I had a post up here somewhere comparing the KA-801 to the KA-701...the 801 is a serious contender for integrated domination with dual power transformers, discrete outputs, and a host of useful features...little brother to the KA-907, but can hold it's own!
