* Just noticed the date of the last post - 2007. Sorry about reviving an old thread, but I can speak very positively on the KA-88. Interesting that it has very little ink on the AK forums.
I recently got one of these amps in a package deal. A set of Sound Dynamics 300Ti and the KA-88 for $100.
From that, I'd say your price is a decent deal.
I figured I'd flip this amp, but I'm really digging the sound. Looks aren't too fancy, but for the price, very usable, with little listening fatigue noticed.
