I picked up a nice KR-5200, actually works so far.

Very nice Receiver.

Needs bulbs and cleaning.

I wish it had 2 Phono inputs..:no:

Thanks,
John.:music::D

I have found that line of Kenwood receivers to be a nice surprise.
They sound good and have a great tuner section.

Enjoy.

Thanks, I used a piece of foil for an antenna? It pulls in the stations great!
Great receiver.

hi, Anyone replaced the dial lamps on this model? I am just curious what was used. This one I have, had bulbs soldered in, with rubber insulators.

Thanks,

Thats nice John :) I have a KR-5150 that I re-lamped last winter. But the bulbs appear to be different. I contacted Dgwojo for my lamps.

Hi, The lamps are installed and she is all cleaned up.

Sounds very nice, warm sound! I may have to redo the lamps, not that bright? I put in 14v lamps as the line voltage is? I might try 12v lamps?

UPDATE: I put in different lamps I tested by hooking them up to see how bright they were 1st! See the difference in pics.

Thanks,
John.:music::D
