Kenwood kr-77 regulator

I am having trouble with a Sanken ST-303 transistor. It has a crack on its case. Does anyone know a replacement for this. Feeling uncertain with what I have come up with on my searches. Any help would be appreciated greatly.

How the heck does a metal case get cracked???

Anyway, to try to be a little more helpful, I suggest you ask a moderator to move this thread to the Kenwood forum, where I think it's more likely to be noticed by someone who has dealt with replacing this part. I don't have that experience, but I expect you will need to replace with a different package style such as a TO-220 with center pin clipped off. (I'm assuming the original part is a TO-66 package, which would have mounting screw centers of 24-odd millimeters - but I can't be sure from the picture.)

You might also want to provide a pic of the other side, or say whether there is a socket or soldered connections on the other side.

Chazix, I will try to move the thread over to Kenwood.
The Transistor is a TO-66. It's cracked because I slipped with my VM, shorted it, and I think I blew it up. It still gives good readings but I got to take it out and look at it.IMG_20210206_092014767~2.jpg

Coonmanx honesty I am not sure if it has stopped doing its job. The right channel is out but that was before I sparked the regulator. I'm going to take it out and measure it and see if it's still spec.
