Replacement diode, maybe Zener 040B

I’m looking for a replacement for this diode and it looks like a Zener for 040B on my Kenwood KR-9050. See the attachments, that’s all the info I have.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Can’t tell from the schematic. Is that part of one channel? If so, you could measure the voltage across the diode in the other channel.

I don’t have a way to test the voltage as one channel is completely fried and I can only turn it on with a DBT. I do have a DCA55 and I pulled the one working diode out of circuit and it showed it at 3.1 volts. Does that help at all? And yes, you are looking at one channel of the amp. I can attach more of the schematic if that helps.

You should be able to disconnect the bad channel and power it up. Not sure the DCA55 has the capability of testing zener diodes.

The info on that dial is scarce, but it seems it was used in quite a few units from multiple manufactures.

I have a Kenwood KR-9050 In the service manual on the power amp board at d-6 is a zener diode kenwood p/n YZ-040b .is this a 40 v zener? maybe a 4v zener. Anyone have a cross reference. Thanks

D5 and D6 are the same 4 v zener.
