kenwood zener diode cross reference

I have a Kenwood KR-9050 In the service manual on the power amp board at d-6 is a zener diode kenwood p/n YZ-040b .is this a 40 v zener? maybe a 4v zener. Anyone have a cross reference. Thanks

D6 on the X07-1690-10 board is a 4V zener. I do not know if it is 1/2W or 1W, but the size of the component and the thickness of the leads should give you a clue.

Will a 4.2v work seems 4v is not a common zener diode I have also found some 3.9 v thanks
 
Diode is being used as a limiter, so the absolute value is not critical. I'd probably go with a 4.2V.

Thanks for the info.Saves me maybe blowing some of those new fast outputs from digikey you told us about.I always power up with a light bulb in series.
