Hi,

i have Kenwood KR-9050 but some parts are damaged, so i was wandering if someone can help, i need new FM board, and few switches, so if maybe FM boards are the same on KR-8050 and swithes that goes up and down. Thx

it is smashed, broken in few places

This board is specific to the KR-9050, finding a replacement may be very difficult.

I suspect that the board is repairable but it needs to be removed and done on a bench very carefully. The board needs to have all of the solder removed around the cracks then stabilized with epoxy before the traces are repaired.

Finding switches is probably not that hard. Is the frame or face damaged?

There is only one switch a bit damaged, so one would be enough. Front is 10/10.

The board is not too difficult to remove if you have a desoldering station. The trickiest part is removing the slide switch.

The tuning cap needs careful attention. You may be able to clean it up with a jewelers file and then realign it. You may need to replace it.

If it were mine I would give it a go.

It was in the box and it fell, then radiators crashed the board and few other things. I know it can be repaired but it takes a lot of work and it is not 100% it would work. I would like to have parts that are not broken, so i am in search of replacement. If i don't find any i will give it a go. Thank you Sir for your help, much appreciated. I can get it out, part by part.

You may end up having to buy a fixer upper just to get the parts you need. That model is fairly rare and expensive!
