Just got these bad boys in today!

Wow am I impressed!

I bought them on eBay and the seller said that one of the speakers didn’t sound “right” but played.

The issue was that someone went in during a service and reversed the polarity of one “bass” driver.

It took a few minutes to figure out.

Now I have both playing and ready to be mounted to my wall.

as for the low end, on my Scott I have the bass set to a 4/5 and treble at 3/5. And if I’m feeling spunky loudness kicks it up a notch.

So now all I need to do is get the caps for them, and presto brand new slim speakers.

Did I say how cool these are?

Picked up a single KLH 14 on gw.com for $10 not too long ago. Haven't given it a listen yet, maybe I need to! Not in nearly as nice shape as yours, but I can remedy that...

They are really easy to work on, and even pre-recap they sound great!

So I have been listening Clapton, Miles Davis, Royals by Lorde on these 14s, wow. They shouldn’t sound this good. Now this being said, the low end isn’t great, but what can you expect from such small cabinets?

Perfect for a kitchen speaker.

Even without a recap, wow, very detailed.

Very simple guts, the original wires are quite brittle just as a heads up.

Mr. Kloss really new how to make a great and fun speaker.
