Very fair price. Plan on recapping the crossovers to restore the high frequency range. Cost if you DIY for parts is ~$20-30.

Check the tweeters. And make sure the drivers are all OEM.
Sometimes they're dead, sometimes the 2 lead 2 uf cap is bad. I just replaced what I thought were bad caps to find my tweeters still broken.

most definatly a good deal, scoop em up!!! the klh 17 speakers are very good with tube stuff, if you have any. but careful with those woofers one flick of the wrist on a volume control on a bigger receiver will pop them. but great sounding speakers! snag em!!!:thmbsp:

What everyone else said.

I have two pairs of 17s and I really like them. Very easy to listen too and very efficient. Don't worry too much about the tweets, even if they're blown if you're patient on ebay you can get replacements for ~$15 (I did). They're certainly not the most detailed speakers in the world but they have a nice sound to them.

i think i am going to pick them up i got her down to $25 too.
It will go great with my sansui 5000.
