KLH 32 need a tweeter

Used a set of them....
on my old repair bench and blew plenty of tweeters from the stuff I worked on.
I used replacement Bose 301 Series I or II tweeters in them as replacements. Main reason was that we were a Bose repair station and I had plent on hand at the time - the mid-70s. Actually, this is a CTS tweeter made to KLH specs as was the Bose version. Altec also used this same tweeter basket/design in their low end Stonehenge and a number of other versions (don't hold me to this list, tho): Bolero, Santana and a couple of other versions of that same timeframe.
I'd suggest you try folks like Simplyspeakers.com or just Google around a bit to see what you can find to replace them. Also, I'd suggest you install new crossover caps while you've got the boxes opened up.
BTW, I also blew the woofers out a number of times - mostly from amps going DC on me - and I'd also recommend the Bose 301 8" woofers, too.
Don't get me wrong, the 32s were quite the workhorse speaker and really did put up with a lot of abuse. Sonically, their limiting factor was their dynamic range due to the size of the cabinet. They'd take a lot of power to blow, too, and I speak from experience.

Check to make sure its not actually the capacitor in the crossover. For some reason a lot of KLH capacitors go, and its easy to assume the tweeter's shot when its not.
If it is shot, just look around for another KLH -- there are tons out there, and most of the older ones use exactly the same tweeter. Ought to be able to come up with one from a trashed cabinet pair.
