I'm very partial to original parts if they can be found, there are a couple on fleabay now. Others will prefer more modern binding posts that are maybe more secure. There are lots of options at Parts Express and Amazon. I'm no expert on them hopefully others here can make better suggestions.

I should also add that someone had replaced the RCA jacks with spring clip terminals. I’m considering replacing those with binding posts for convenience. If I want to swap speakers between systems, plugging banana plugs in would make it simple.

I have a pair of KLH 20’s with RCA inputs (also have 22, 6 and 23). I’m not a big fan of messing with stock binding posts unless they are truly not functional. This message is mostly for others that might encounter this thread in the future. I left the RCAs in place in my 20’s and used two adaptors - 1) a male RCA to female BNC and then 2) a male BNC to dual binding post. I have these things laying around so it’s easy. But these are cheap and can be purchased online anywhere. Beauty of this solution is that you can use binding posts but also bare wire if you wish. Works like a charm and no need to disturb the back of these classic speakers.
