KLH model thirty-one

I just got a pair of KLH model thirty-one and they sound great. One of the tweeters was having some issues but it started working. I've decided to re-cap this 40+ year old set, but when I opened it up the only capacitors I could locate were the 4uf paper caps connected to the tweeters.

Does this model not have a crossover switch, or has it been tweaked?

The speakers connect to the wires via two screws. on the inside the wires go to a transformer, which sends one signal to the wolfer, which has a 4omega resistor, and another signal to the tweeter which has the 4uf capacitor. (Note: I looked at the transformer and there is no capacitor taped to it).

I got some dayton audio PMPC 4.0 uf 240v precision audio capacitors to replace the tweeter capacitors, but before I open it up to switch out the capacitors, I wanted to check to see if anyone had the schematic for this model.

I have heard that the 31 is the same speaker as the Model 32, but with vinyl veneer instead of real wood. Last year I refurbished a pair of 32's and we only had to update the single cap and there was no switch on the back. These were very simple speakers but they sound good for how small they are. Be mindful that the tweeters are a bit hard to find, so try not to blow them if possible.
