KLH Speakers

Hi all

I picked up a pair of Linear Dynamics by KLH Model 4800B. Anyone know anything about these. Can’t find anything on the net and wondering if worth keeping. Paid $75. Thank you

Ive never heard them but they look decent probably good for bass !!
Looks to be a klh after there prime.
Maybe try them out see how they sound .
I don’t have any speakers with 15” woofer yet. Sadly except my subwoofer.
I only have two pairs of vintage both were having issues one pair was fine but other had static. Wasn’t sure how to fix it old rtr ev9 I think or something with 8” woofers.

I have a klh subwoofer sadly I never had a pair of the speakers , or heard good things about them tho . Wish I got the 12” sub but for 10” it’s loud.

I will post some pics but have not booked them up yet. By the sound of the replies, these are not liley replacing my current PSBs. I’m trying to find their value as well for possible resell.

As for the speakers those were not KLH's best effort. If you could get the money back you paid for them you'd be lucky.

Neither your sub nor the Linear Dynamics brand have much in common with the "classic" speakers produced by the original KLH company.

The KLH brand name is not a reliable indicator of sound quality...too much crap was produced by too many companies trying to leverage the good reputation developed by the brand in the 60s and early 70s.

Shame klh brand died off, yeah the sub is decent but looks almost the same as Dayton audio nothing special about the driver.
My new subwoofer with Diy box is a lot better.
Good brands often don’t. Survive in the era of gimmicky brands like bose . People just want those little soundbars & cube speakers.
