Klipsch Epic Owners?

I am a CF-4 fan. I like the CF-3 too. I am glad to see there is still interest in them. I like to power them with big vintage receivers. I think they sounded the best with high quality CD players, but now I stream everything.

Streaming Amazon HD music. PC>Arcam irDac>
Yamamoto A-08S 45 SET> CF3. Gets pretty close to PWK’s theory. 2 watts of near field listening, in the kitchen/dining area. Intimate and accurate.
Working on getting appropriate risers.

Notice the Fisher 70-A pair> Audio Research SP-3> CF4. Not ideal, I get it.. but then I haven’t noticed bad effects. Temporary, anyway as I just finished the rebuild on these recently.
Can handle any type of music. Loud and and authoritative. Sources. CD, vinyl

Not my main living room system by a long shot.
But we’re talking Epic in this thread.
Now I have some friends intently searching for CF3’s.A5C6EA1E-9E75-4054-AB7A-6C24E442279D.jpeg

Not too long ago I found a pair of CF4s V2 on Facebook. I thought they were priced somewhat on the high side but the appeared to be in excellent condition. I had a flu or something that kept hanging with me for quite a while, so I didn't feel like driving the approximately 130 miles for an audition. Now after reading this thread, I'm having non-buyer's remorse. They are on my shortlist of speakers that I'd like to have and the odds of finding another pair that close at a reasonable price isn't very good. I'll still be on the lookout for a pair though.
