The difference is, at one place you're the moderator, while here you're the moderatee. It's good for you to experience how the other half lives.

Generally, threads get locked when nothing new is being said, when efforts to keep things moderated seem to be failing, or when things seem to be getting out of hand in terms of attitude and personal comments. Tough call to make sometimes, and even tougher to make sure everyone feels like they got their licks in first. Just so folks know, debating moderating decisions in threads - rather than by PM's to the moderators or admins - is not viewed kindly here. It is nice to see Klipsch folks hang out here, and I hope it doesn't call for much attention from the mods.

Kidding of course. I won't debate moderating styles anymore...it's silly, really. They obviously know what they are doing here.

Back to the topic at hand... what is UP with that KLIPSCH FORUM GOING DOWN ALL THE TIME??!!!

Being a regular at AK and a part timer on the Klipsch Forum I welcome the influx of Klipsch regulars here. However, I would hope that in the future topics of discussion could center around audio issues rather than personalities and or Klipsch Forum politics. Please share your knowledge and not your grievences.

As a courtesy to people from the Klipsch board, we've left this forum pretty much open without moderation. This policy will end, effective NOW.

We're a good group here. You're all welcome. BUT, leave your issues with the other board there. From this point, out of courtesy to the Klipsch board and in keeping with the spirit of brotherhood and friendship that are the hallmark of AudioKarma, we're going to have to lock down any future threads that end up turning into inter-forum ugliness.

Me? I'd rather crack open a cold beer and listen to some tunes, because that's what we do here on AK
