Several weeks ago I was banned after just 20 mins over at DailyKos--seems you can't disagree with the general mindset there. I was totally civil too, unlike more than half of their posters, who say f*** more often than Jack Nicholson did in "The Last Detail."

More than anything I see this thread as welcoming Al, but I won't argue over semantics. This is not a public court of opinion, AK is neither judge nor jury in whatever's going on here. Let's keep it as such.

Seems as though the pressures of the holiday season have caused a slip in the orbital alignment!
I hope Al, Amy and others involved will take a step back causing a shift an get everything back on track between members of all forums!
Come on folks, we are expending too much energy (me included) in this topic and hoping we can all agree to disagree, agree or move forward and shake hands at the end of the day.

I am certainly agreeable with that. I will try to conclude this later with a sumation of what Amy and I come to as a result of provate message exchanges since it has become such a big deal. I never really wanted this anyhow. I just wanted a simple exit from the Klipsch forums and to explain my reasons for doing so. The thread that ended it got accidently goofed up where all of my posts seemed to be deleted. That was why I wrote the open letter. All of it was later restored and it was too late to undo it!

I followed the thread titled "Crossovers" or somethin in the "Technical Questions" of the Klipschforum where all this started. Al's posts were repeatedly blocked while he was being slammed, then the whole thread disappeared. I also wished that Al was given a chance to tell his side of the story....
