The Hershey oops reminde me of my old neighbor...

I lived in a duplex, she was something like 85 years old & retired. I told my (now wife) that I wasn't going to move out until she passed away because I didn't want her to contend (in a college town) some punks next to her.

Ok, so now that we're all warm & fuzzy....

Seems her minister was over visiting her like they do. She had a bowl of peanuts on the table and as they visited he munched on some.

Over time, seems he munched on more & more...finally, the whole bowl was basically gone (not like it was THAT huge of a bowl...)

Anyways...

Once he realized he had scarfed most of her peanuts down he apologized profusely to her...telling her he'd happily get her some more... and she said...

No, Pastor... that's just fine.... I've already sucked the chocolate off them...

I wish someone made a really great speaker that weighed 55 pounds. My current mains are about 150 each.

Mine, too. Polk SDA SRS II's in my office are 135 lbs each and the Altec Lansing Milano's in one of the spare bedrooms are around 100 lbs each. Gotta love that sturdiness! :music:  :thmbsp:

Raymond, you might look into the Klipsch KG4. I know size and price is important to you and they will be smaller and can be had for less $ than the Heresy.

I am glad to see you considering getting away from the all in one systems.

re. Klipsch KG-4.

I know I'm going to catch crap, flack, and flames for this but...

I like the KG-4s better. KG-4 can't beat the Heresy midrange but I think beats it highs and lows. Especially after a Cap replacement. Midrange is close enough for me to cover the difference in price.

My KG4s were much more pleasing to listen to, unless the Heresys were playing something without much range. I sold both when I got my Polks, only kept a pair of KG3s for the bookshelf in the basement.

WOW...for me the only thing that comes close to the Heresys (and properly placed exceeds them) is the Quartet...(I imagine the Forte' II would be better too)...
