I have a pair of these and wondering if Klipsch used them in any of the models which have only one woofer?

I've heard the Klipsch KM-6 uses the same woofer, basically a military version of the KG 5.5.

Looks like the KM-6 uses two woofers per channel, I only have two woofers so I'm looking for a model that used only one woofer per box

Check the ohm of the woofers, not sure if they changed ohm ratings for dual woofer models vs single woofers... but the KG 4.5 has the same "looking" 10" woofer as 5.5 as well as the earlier KG's like the 4.2 or maybe 5.2. Besides those Im pretty sure those woofers werent used in any other models.

The KM series are just duplicates of the KG line but sold via military exchange outlets, same internal parts as the KG.

The 4.2 and 4.5 did use the same woofer, but the 5.5 used a different one, which is also different from the 5.2.

But they're all 10", have the same crossover point, and got paired with the same tweeter. Be curious what the differences are and why.

The KG 5.5 is a great speaker. I bought a set new back in 94.
The only Klipsch speaker that comes close to sounding as good IMHO is the Cornwall.
IMHO leave the stock crossover and swap to TI diaphragms and enjoy!
Don't brace, or use more damping then Klipsch used.
It's makes them sound worse.
Good news for me is I ran into the person that bt the tiought them.
And they gave them too me!!.
Still in mint shape..
Probably because one had a loose rear panel.
As well as the motor board.
I wacked them hard with a rubber Mallot.
Solid for now.........
The loose one popped right out.
These like a high quality amp with some juice as I found out years ago to sound their best.
Front port makes them way easier to place the KLF20/30's
No excessive boom........
