Klipsch Heresies have been discussed at length here, doing a quick search should find you more than you ever wanted to know. And I think that receiver would do well with them.

They play loud and clean but bass is weak in terms of extension. If you put them on the floor in corners you can get pretty solid response down into the 50-60Hz range. Otherwise expect to be underwhelmed. Further up the spectrum, they do well, IMO. Not klipschorn / la scala well, but well. Again, loud and clean but not much in the way of air if you're into that kind of thing. Your classic Pioneer receiver should be plenty horse enough to drive heresys to headache level.

KG=g series, or the RF series, are great (admittedly I haven't heard the RF but they are well spoken of and if I don't stop pushing the Kg there won't be any affordable ones left :p ).

Agreed on the limited bass extension of the Heresy. It does what it does pretty well for what it is.

BTW I have a 1250 and Kg 4.2's with Crites diaphragms.
