IMHO that is a crazy price for unfinished speakers.

Insane price for an "unfinished project" and you don't need new tweeters (and I seriously think a pair of new tweeters is $250)--all you need are diaphragms to rebuild/upgrade them--they are pretty indestructible otherwise.

I just picked up a pair of Heresy HBR's in good conditon for $325 so I agree those are way overpriced. You can get the crossover kit that is for both crossovers for $50 including shipping and the tweeter diaphrams for around the same price.

I got mine in great shape in original boxes for $250, but I did well. I wouldn't pay more than $200 for those (unless he threw in some nice veneer to defray the cost of finishing what he started, pun intended).
